Dr. Holly Westbrock DC, DACBSP, EMT, CSCS
Dr. Holly Westbrock, owner and director of PSSC, is a licensed Sports Chiropractic Physician who graduated with honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She attended University of Minnesota Duluth as a full scholarship student-athlete and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Chemistry. Dr. Westbrock has her Diplomate from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP), is a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and has been an Active Release Technique® (ART) practitioner. Additionally, Dr. Westbrock is a credentialed instructor for Graston Technique, is a medical consultant to Lifetime Fitness, a nationally recognized fitness company and is an Associate Faculty Doctor at Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Westbrock currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians and is the chairperson for the Written Examination Committee for the ACBSP. Her unique credentials have enabled Dr. Westbrock to work as the Medical Director for the Wayzata Girl’s Rugby Club and as well as the team physician for the Dakota County Technical College Men’s and Women’s soccer teams. Dr. Westbrock has had the honor of working in an official capacity with Macalester College Athletics and the Minnesota Lightning Women’s Soccer Team. Due to Dr. Westbrock’s extensive education in sports injuries and physical rehabilitation, she has worked with multitudes of NFL, MLB, NHL, X Games, Reebok Games, Olympic, professional and collegiate athletes. She describes herself as patient-focused and outcome-based, she continues to be an advocate for her patients and allows for a safer and faster return to competition for athletes of all levels. Dr. Christopher Dean DC, CCSP, CSCS, FMT, EMT®
Dr. Christopher Dean is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University. He attended St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI, and holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology as a student-athlete soccer player. Dr. Dean is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, is a Certified Chiropractic Acupuncturist from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, is a nationally registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and has been trained in Active Release Technique® (ART) and is also RockTape: Fascial Movement Taping (FMT) – Levels I and II Certified. His training has allowed him the opportunity to work a two week rotation with Team USA Sports Medicine at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO, providing treatment for a number of athletes from Team USA on the US Olympic and Paralympic summer and winter teams. Dr. Dean has also provided medical sideline support for the Men’s and Women’s Dakota County Technical College soccer teams, Wayzata Rugby Club and coached the strength and conditioning programs at Edina High School and Shakopee Volleyball Association. He has also given numerous talks to area running clubs on many topics including injury prevention for beginner runners and the benefits of cross-training. Currently Dr. Dean is going on his fourth season as the team physician for the M1 (Minnesota One) Volleyball Club out of Bloomington, MN, and in his free time he volunteers as the Mobility WOD Practitioner and mobility coach at CrossFit Eden Prairie. Dr. Dean is an active member of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA) as well as a member of the MCA Sports Council. He was voted by his peers as a “Top Chiropractor” in 2016 and 2017 as seen in Minnesota Monthly magazine. Using a comprehensive treatment philosophy, Dr. Dean understands his patient’s individual goals and believes in an active recovery to help remain competitive while training through an injury.
Dr. Nolan Mitchell DC, CCSP, CSCS, FMT
Dr. Nolan Mitchell is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated with honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University. He also attended Jamestown College and earned a biology degree as a student-athlete with the baseball team. Following chiropractic school Dr. Mitchell completed a preceptorship program at the Fort Harrison VA Medical Center in Helena, Montana. In this setting he was able to work side by side with primary care medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, physical therapists, as well as chiropractors to provide a unique integrated healthcare atmosphere for Montana’s veteran population. Dr. Mitchell is trained in Graston Technique and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is also certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician and is certified in Active Release Technique. He also enjoys coaching a team for the Chaska Juniors volleyball club as well as consulting with Chaska and Shakopee’s strength and conditioning programs.
Dr. Michael Williams DC, CCSP®, CSCS, FMT, GT
Dr. Michael Williams is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated with honors from Northwestern Health Sciences University. He also attended St. John’s University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences as a student-athlete with the Varsity Swim Team. Throughout his undergraduate studies, Dr. Williams also competed on an elite triathlon team where he was able to combine his swimming skills with his passion for running and biking. Dr. Williams is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, Graston Technique, Rocktape Fascial Movement Taping, and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Dr. Williams enjoys educating others on current sports and health topics, and he understands the desire of all ability levels to get back to optimal performance and recover quickly while balancing the importance of rest and recovery.
